July 15, 2002 Type: Access violation error A few users have reported an "Access violation error". It seems that this error occurs in a stochastic way when the zoom tool is used perhaps around 100 times in combination with a selected object (such as a marked material box) in the pre-processor. This happened for relatively complex case involving thin steel in insulation. Short-term solution The error triggers when the mouse pointer is inside the pre-processor. After closing the error message dialogue box, try to move the mouse away from the pre-processor window. Then it should be OK to save the input (preferably as a new name), close HEAT3 and reopen the problem and continue. Fix available May 8, 2003! |
